Dr. Lyon is a Certified Independent Medical Examiner through the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine. He has provided medical consultation to attorneys and insurance professionals for the past 9 years in the contexts of worker's compensation, long and short term disability, motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, accidental death and travel medical and second injury fund reviews. He has trained other physicians for medical review work and is a member of the American College of Physician Executives.
