Timothy T. Williams, Jr. is a twenty- nine year retired Los Angeles Police Department Detective. He has over twenty-six years experience as a detective conducting and supervising investigations, including but not limited to complicated robbery, homicide, kidnap, domestic violence, child abuse, rape, sexual assault and burglary investigations. He has worked patrol, recruitment, internal affairs, administrative assignments, and upon his retirement was assigned to the elite Robbery- Homicide Division. He was a nationally recognized expert in domestic violence and was instrumental in developing and recommending policy and procedures in this area. Mr. Williams is a requested speaker on Criminal Justice issues, including workplace violence and is an expert in the area of police procedures and practices. He is the CEO of T. T. Williams, Jr., Investigations, Inc., A Private Investigation Firm. Mr. Williams was also a faculty instructor at Los Angeles City College in the Administration of Justice Department where he served for over fourteen years.
Mr. Williams completed his undergraduate studies at California State University at Los Angeles, majoring in Criminal Justice. He is also a graduate of Police Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.), Supervisory Leadership Institute, and a graduate of the West Point Leadership Program, and has attended numerous continuing education courses and seminars on detective work, forensics, legal issues, and investigative techniques.
