Mr. Thomas F. Morone

With over 38 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Tom Morone has a diversified background including litigation support, asset management, strategic planning, management and operations, hotel real estate brokerage, management contract selection, and branding. Tom is a licensed real estate broker in three states, is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, and publishes and contributes regularly to industry publications. He is a member of CCIM, a certified mediator and arbitrator, and is Chairman of the ISHC.

Thomas Morone is a principal of Warnick + Company (W+C) and manages the Los Angeles practice. At W+C, Morone manages an active and diverse consulting practice and is responsible for the hotel real estate brokerage activities for the company. Before opening the Los Angeles office of W+C, Tom was Vice President and Manager of Colliers International Hotel Realty-Los Angeles. His background also includes being Vice President, Corporate Development with Omni Hotels and was a Director of Development with Doubletree Hotels. He has managed regional corporate development and real estate activities throughout the United States. His consulting skills were developed as a Senior Consultant with Pannell Kerr Forster, Los Angeles and honed in his own practice, Hospitality Systems, Inc., which he founded in 1979. Mr. Morone has extensive hotel operating experience, has opened new properties, and repositioned several hotels and restaurants. He began his hotel career with Western International Hotels( now Westin Hotels), where he was a member of the opening teams for the Peachtree Plaza Hotel in Atlanta and the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles.
