Thomas Britven is a Managing Director in the Houston office of Duff & Phelps, LLC and is part of the Dispute & Legal Management Consulting practice. He is also the National Intellectual Property Consulting Leader of Duff & Phelps. Tom has extensive experience determining reasonable royalty damages and lost profits in connection with intellectual property litigation (such as patent or trademark infringement, misappropriation of trade secrets) across many industries including technology/communications, pharmaceuticals, industrial products, and consumer products. He has acted as an expert witness and provided testimony in numerous cases across the country. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Public Accountant, Certified Valuation Analyst, and is accredited in Business Valuation.
