All senior members of the Litigation and Valuation Services Group are Certified Public Accountants and certain members are MBA's and/or hold one or more of the following designations: ASA (Accredited Senior Appraiser), ABV (AICPA accreditation in business valuations, CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner), CDP (Certified Divorce Planner), DABFA (Diplomate of the American Board of Forensic Accounting), and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF). Members of our group have provided expert testimony in deposition, civil and criminal bench/jury trials, and alternative dispute resolution matters such as arbitration.

A: Ted completed a two-year term as a trustee of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA), charged with overseeing Quality Control, Quality Review, Professional Ethics and other Technical activities, and a one-year term as a Vice President of the Society. He has served as a member of the Quality Enhancement Committee of the New Jersey State Board of Accountancy, the Peer Review Committee of the Private Companies Practice Section and the SEC Practice Section Nominations Committee of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Division for CPA Firms. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the International Group of Accounting Firms and chaired its Continuing Professional Education Committee. He is also a member of The American College of Forensic Examiners.

Ted is also very active in the community, and serves as a member of the Board of Governors of the United Jewish Centers of MetroWest, where he has chaired the Budget and Finance and Audit Committees.

A: Ted is a co-author of the well known Warren Gorham & Lamont, Research Institute of America, seven volume looseleaf and web service SEC Compliance – Financial Reporting and Forms. He has written and lectured on the subject of Quality Control and Peer Review of CPA firms and has chaired a number of peer review teams for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the International Group of Accounting Firms. He has authored articles for The Practical Accountant, CPA Journal, The Practicing CPA, The Micro Manager, Business, and The PCPS Reporter. He has appeared on the CPA Report video in the Litigation Support section.
