Dr. Kupferman is a board-certified physician Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He attended dental school at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. Upon completion, he was accepted to medical school at The UCLA School of Medicine in a combined program which included an internship in General Surgery and three additional years of training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. As a young surgeon, Dr. Kupferman was recruited by the well-known Southern California Permanente Medical Group’s (Kaiser Permanente) Maxillofacial Surgery Department where he served as an associate for two years. In addition to maintaining a busy orthognathic surgery and facial trauma practice, Dr. Kupferman was instrumental in developing a thriving practice of skeletal surgery for obstructive sleep apnea.
Having been sought after for his expertise and minimally invasive techniques Dr. Kupferman decided to bring his skills to the community and open his practice in Century City.
