Dr. Gertzbein is a board-certified internationally respected spine surgeon with over 33 years of clinical experience treating spinal disorders. He was Full Professor at Baylor College of Medicine and has published over 50 peer-reviewed articles and 27 chapters in textbooks as well as writing a textbook on spinal fractures. He has delivered more than 300 lectures at colleges, universities and orthopedic societies throughout the world and has held national and international appointments on spine societies, currently serving on the editorial boards of Spine and The Spine Journal. He recently appeared on Stephen Spielberg’s ABC series “Miracle Workers”.
