Dr. John  A. Sample

Dr. Sample is a retired Associate Professor in Adult Education and Human Resource Development at the College of Education, Florida State University. He has over 30 years experience designing, developing, implementing and evaluating training programs in government and business.

His recent book, Avoiding Legal Liability for Adult Educators, Human Resource Developers, and Instructional Designers (2007, Krieger Publishing) is the only current authorative reference text for this developing area of litigation.

Dr. Sample is qualified to assist in case preparation and testify in cases relating to negligent training and supervision, the adequacy of harassment prevention training, and audits of high liability tasks in law enforcement and corrections. Other areas of expertise include evaluating training programs designed to meet the requirements for the Federal Sentencing Guidelines (U.S.S.G 2005, ยง8A1.1) and the TEACH Act of 2002.
