Mr. Nicholson is President of The Toiyabe Group, Inc., and has over twenty-five years of healthcare finance experience. He specializes in regulatory compliance programs; fraud audits; risk assessments; billing/compliance reviews; Charge Description Master updates; coding and documentation audits; and Expert Witness healthcare related testimony. Mr. Nicholson is a Certified Fraud Examiner and a past member of its Health Care Fraud Committee; a Certified Medical Investigator; a Fellow of the American College of Forensic Examiners International; and a Diplomate of American Board of Forensic Examiners. He has considerable trial experience and has been deposed frequently. In addition to providing litigation support services to numerous law firms, he has been engaged by the Department of Justice to assist in both civil and criminal healthcare fraud investigations.
