Mr. Reed has over 25 years of hands-on experience in operation and maintenance of trucks, tractor-trailers and construction equipment along with 10 years in management of operations, safety and maintenance in the trucking and construction industry. He has 3 years teaching in the Ohio Vocational School system and has worked as a consultant/expert since 1989. He has worked on many cases involving truck driver & equipment operator issues along with maintenance or failure issues with commercial vehicles and equipment or their systems for both Plaintiff & Defense. Assists and performs accident reconstruction with the characteristics and tendencies of large trucks and equipment as well as the inner-workings and modern technology of industry. Performs complete inspection of vehicles and equipment for defects or to certify safety in accordance to proper procedures, regulations, and standards. Reviews and audits computer records, cellular or "GPS" tracking records, driver logs and required documents of the industry for compliance to regulations and operating procedures.. Driver re-enactment's, inspections, reconstruct/test equipment, scene work & skid testing, analysis & reconstruction of industrial equipment accidents, case review, and demonstrative exhibits upon request.
