Professor Pehlke has extensive experience in forensic metallurgy as a technical advisor and expert witness in numerous legal cases. He has testified about 12 times in both Federal District Court and in County Circuit Courts and has given over 60 depositions, participating in more than 100 legal cases. He has prepared affidavits and declarations in patent cases. In one instance, he served as technical advisor to the Court. These cases have covered a broad range of metals and materials issues, including product liability, personal injury, property damage, patents and metallurgical industry taxation and regulation.
