Aircraft accidents result when the "error chain" is not broken. Air Force studies have indicated that on average there are seven opportunities to stop an accident from occurring. Typically, some combination of events involving weather, aeronautical decision making (ADM), maintenance, aircraft / systems / avionics / propulsion design and limitations, operating procedures, adequacy of aircraft flight manual (AFM), training, human factors including pilot workload and cockpit design features, physiological issues and the adequacy of FAA regulatory requirements and policy come into play and contribute to the accident. Our mission is to provide our clients with the relevant and reliable testimony (i.e. expert witness) needed to assess exactly what factors contributed to the cause of the accident. And as part of that process, ascertaining your strengths and weaknesses as it relates to the factors involved in the accident as well as that of opposing counsel.
