Mr. Baker has been asked by the World Health Organization (WHO) to teach lead hazard identification classes in Kosovo, in an effort to stop the rampant incidences of lead poisoning resulting from the mining and smelting of lead.
He has been awarded by state,local, federal, and private agencies for his efforts to protect the public from the hazards of lead poisoning.
He is an internationally known and well respected expert, as well as an outstanding instructor for the EPA and HUD lead-based paint training classes. He is very well versed in the regulatory requirements that are involved with lead-based paint and the ensuing issues of lead poisoning.
He has assisted in writing, editing and/or peer reviewing many of the state and federal regulations, protocols and guidelines involving the identification, assessment and control of lead-based paint and lead hazards.
He has authored numerous articles regarding all facets of all of the lead-based paint issues.
He has provided litigation support and given expert witness testimony (primarily plaintiff) in several lawsuits and court cases.
