Reed Settle is an N.C.A.R.B licensed architect registered in California, Arizona, and Colorado. In private practice providing design services since 1978, he is also an arbitrator providing decisions for the California Contractors State Licensing board since 1999. Reed Settle has provided consulting in construction defect litigation as well as providing field investigation reports, depositions and Federal Court testimony for many Americans with Disability Act cases. In addition Reed Settle has been an Adjunct and Assistant Professor at various colleges and full time Lecturer of Architecture at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. The classes he taught included design studio as well as technical subjects that included Codes and Life Safety, Construction Estimating, CADD, Specification Writing, and Contract Documents at the undergraduate and graduate level. He is experienced in explaining complex concepts in a way that can be understood by someone not familiar with the subject.
