Ron Dokell has over 35 years experience with demolition of difficult commercial structures and the demolition and dismantlement of complex industrial sites. He is the President of Demolition Consultants and is the recently retired President of Olshan Demolition Company, one of Engineering News Record’s Top 10 for several years.

He was a charter member of the industry’s professional group, the National Association of Demolition Contractors (which is now named the National Demolition Association - NDA). He served not only served on its Board as President but Chaired the NADC Safety Committee. The Safety Committee wrote the NADC Safety Manual and codified industry-wide safety standards and courses --- which are the industry standards today.

In building Olshan from a small regional company to an ENR’s Top 10 Company, he gained experience in all phases of demolition and dismantlement—reviewing specifications, contracts, work methods, safety, wrecking, insurance/bonding, estimating and bidding, job staffing, etc.
