Dr Kaushall PhD has been in private practice in San Diego since 1986. His practice consists of the twin aspects of family and individual psychotherapy, and clinical neuropsychology. He has provided over 500 private or court-ordered evaluations and consultations over a range of forensic issues including child abuse, parenting issues including alienation, dangerousness, competency to stand trial, social security disability, NGRI, traumatic brain injury, developmental delays in children, cognitive rehabilitation, and mental competence in the elderly to make medical decisions.
Dr Kaushall is a Qualified Medical Evaluator in Psychology for Workers' Compensation, certified by the California Department of Industrial Relations. He is a co-founder of the Center for Professional Ethics and Law, a 501(c)(3) dedicated to examining the interface between the social sciences and law.
