A Licensed Architect since 1986, and active in forensic construction investigation since 1993, Mr. Bedington is a Nationally Accredited Architect, licensed to practice in Arizona, California and Nevada. With over twenty years of regional design and construction experience He is a specialist in general construction with an emphasis on water intrusion, particularly at commercial and residential fenestration systems including windows and sliding glass doors and their integration to exterior wall systems. Other areas of expertise include architectural construction, architectural framing, finish carpentry, glass and glazing, shower door assemblies and interior cabinetry.
His experience in the investigation of construction problems is augmented by an ability to develop practical solutions for the remediation of defective conditions. Mr. Bedington has demonstrated skill in all phases of the construction defect process including field investigation, defect/failure analysis, case evaluation and summary, preparation of appropriate repair recommendations, mediations and deposition testimony. In addition to, and in support of these general services he also offers general consulting, testing, assessment of resultant damage, building code analysis and interpretation, assessment of built conditions with approved construction documents, review/interpretation of contracts and assessment of standard of care of responsible parties.
