PATRICK J. MCPARTLAND, P.E. – Elevator and Escalator Expert
Early in his career, Pat was an elevator mechanic for New York Elevator, and he’s continued to expand his knowledge base. He’s now familiar with the equipment of major manufacturers like Westinghouse, Otis, Montgomery and Schindler, to name a few.
He’s supervised major elevator and escalator construction and modernization projects, supervised the installation and performed final adjustments to elevator door operators, and he’s performed elevator maintenance and safety evaluations as a licensed NYC Local Law IO Inspector. While a project manager for Westinghouse, he performed and supervised others in the layout, design, ordering, modernization, and installation of elevator motor control systems, door equipment, hoist motors and all major elevator components for commercial and residential buildings.
Pat is a Professional Engineer in New York and New Jersey, and he’s a Certified Elevator Inspector. He’s a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, as well as the National Association of Vertical Transportation Professionals.
