Dr. Wolfson received his M.D. from the S.U.N.Y. Health Science Center at Syracuse and his M.P.H. from the Harvard School of Public Health. He has an M.S. in pharmacology from Northeastern University. He completed a residency in Family Medicine at Brown University as well as a fellowship in Occupational Medicine at the Harvard School of Public Health/University of Massachusetts Medical Center. He also completed a fellowship at the Center for Alcohol and Addiction Studies at Brown University. He is board certified in Occupational Medicine by the the American Board of Preventive Medicine and in Family Practice by the American Board of Family Practice. He is also certified in Alcoholism and Other Drug Dependencies by the American Society of Addiction Medicine.
Dr. Wolfson has extensive clinical experience in the practice of Occupational/ Environmental Medicine and Family Medicine. In addition, he served on the Rhode Island Worker's Compensation Court Medical Advisory Board. He has taught medical students and residents at Brown Medical School, Yale Medical School, and the SUNY Health Science Center at Syracuse. He is currently Medical Director of Syracuse Occupational and Environmental Medicine Consultants and a clinical instructor at the SUNY Health Science Center. He is also serving as a medical advisory committee member for an ATSDR-funded Health Intervention Project in Georgia.
