Michael has more than 30 years of hands-on construction experience providing engineered solutions to a variety of defect and quality issues. He has developed specific skill in solving difficult means and methods issues with safe and efficient alternatives.
For Mabey Bridge, Michael provided engineering and on-site supervision for the design and installation of temporary bridge structures and shoring. As a concrete repair and materials engineer for J.F. White Contracting in Massachusetts, he was responsible for technical support and repair of identified defective work. He selected repair materials and supervised installation. His extensive concrete work included anchorage systems and waterproofing on a 100-million gallon concrete storage tank, and engineering and installation of underwater pile repair systems. He’s worked closely with a variety of agencies, including the DOTs of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Maine and New Hampshire.
Michael is a registered Professional Engineer in Massachusetts, and he has Commercial Diver Certification to 100 ft. Maximum Depth. He’s a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and of the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute.
