Michael Harris, Ph.D., is an expert in human resource management and has worked on a number of cases as an expert witness in the employment discrimination area. Cases he has worked on involved such areas as promotions, layoffs, compensation, and performance evaluations. His most recent case (Jenkins v. BellSouth) involved stereotypes and organizational culture, as well as employment test validity, compensation, and disparate impact. As a professor of management, he won the 2007 Thomas Jefferson Award for excellence in research, teaching, and service. Dr. Harris has written numerous articles, given presentations, and published books in the area of human resources, discrimination, and related issues, and is a Fellow of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
