Food Processing & Manufacturing Specialist
Matthew is an expert in a variety of mechanical systems and processes, including contamination, foreign objects, conveyor systems, automation, maintenance systems, packaging, storage, cooking equipment and processes, sterilization and pasteurization, batching and size reduction, machine guarding, ergonomics, and workplace safety. For nearly 30 years, he has been working for the largest food production companies in the world, including Pepperidge Farm, Haagen-Dazs, and Lipton. He applies his experience to investigations involving all aspects of food and beverage processing, packaging, warehousing, and distribution.
Matthew is a registered professional engineer in Pennsylvania and a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers and the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). He is also an active member of the American Society of Baking’s BISCC/ANSI Z50 Equipment Safety and Sanitation Standards for the Baking Industry committee.
