Dr. Mark Shirilau has his Ph.D. in electric power systems engineering as well as his master's in business administration. He is a registered professional engineer in California, New York, and Texas. Mark is also a licensed general and electrical contractor and a college instructor. Presently he is president of an engineering consulting firm, and prior to that he worked for Southern California Edison. His expertise includes energy use, generation, transmission, distribution, electric systems, energy economics, conservation, utility rates, reliability, power quality, safety, operating costs, contracting, and the National Electric Code.
