Mark Palumbo, MD is Chief of the Division of Spine Surgery at Rhode Island Hospital. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and has been in full-time surgical practice as a member of University Orthopaedics Incorporated since 1996. His clinical practice is devoted to the operative treatment of adult spinal disorders.
Dr. Palumbo is an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University. He is actively involved in teaching and lectures at national and regional conferences. His research has resulted in numerous publications in professional journals and textbooks.
