I regularly consult in connection with antitrust, corporate, business organization, and securities regulation matters. I also serve as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association, the National Association of Securities Dealers, and the New York Stock Exchange. My publications include Organizing Corporate & Other Business Enterprises (6th ed.) (LexisNexis 2000/updated annually) (with L. Gross) and Antitrust Law and Local Government (Greenwood Press 1985). The Governor of Illinois appointed me to the Illinois Blue Ribbon (“Stigler”) Telecommunications Task Force on which I served from 1990 to 1991); and the Chairman of the Illinois Commerce Commission appointed me to the Task Force on Utility Regulation Reform on which I served from 1982 to 1984. Before joining academe, I practiced for the United States Department of Justice and the Attorney General of Texas.

A: A full-time law professor since 1976, I regularly teach Antitrust, Business Organizations, Securities Regulation, and Law & Economics. I have taught not only at Southern Illinois University where I am tenured, but also at Georgetown, American, the University of Colorado, Gonzaga, the University of Miami, the University of San Diego and Washington University in St. Louis. I have also taught and lectured at universities in Austria, Belgium, Germany, and England.
