Highway Engineering, Crash Reconstruction For more than 20 years, Lance has provided investigations and analysis in motor vehicle, bicycle, pedestrian, and train collisions. He has applied his roadway safety expertise to determine if roadway conditions were or were not dangerous in a manner that was a cause of these collisions. He has extensive practices in collisions involving utility poles and construction work zones. His construction knowledge has been particularly useful in crash cases involving construction work zones and roadways where construction work was recently completed.

Prior to his forensic work, Lance supervised design and construction of road, street and bridge projects, and water and sewerage facilities.

Lance is licensed as a Professional Engineer in five states, is a member of the Transportation Research Board, the Institute of Traffic Engineers, and the Society of Automotive Engineers, and was an owner of a construction company.
