Ken Cooper is a certified New York State Firearms and Use of Force Instructor. He has been actively involved in training and certifying over 5000 men and women in his training academy. Mr. Cooper is an Adjunct Instructor of Criminal Justice at S.U.N.Y Ulster, teaching firearms and other courses since 1990. For the past 7 years Mr. Cooper has been the Director of the Bard College Office of Safety and Security. Mr. Cooper has been qualified as a Use of Force and Firearms expert in New York State Supreme Court, Brooklyn Supreme Court, Vermont State Court and has provided service for the Hong Kong Criminal Courts in a high profile police murder case. Mr. Cooper was the expert consultant for the Sean Carrol Defense team in the Amadou Diallo shooting in New York City in 2000.
