Providing Vital Meteorological Trail Support Services to a National Client Base.

Red Sky offers a wide range of historical weather data and analysis services in support of civil, criminal and insurance investigations and trial services. We support both plaintiff and defendant’s cases. Our services including;

• Meteorology Consulting and Expert Witness

• Historical Weather Data and Analysis Reports
Red Sky’s data reports are clear, concise and comprehensive, and include detailed weather element tables and pertinent data graphs to support your case. To establish the most probable conditions at your site of interest we employ multi-station spatial analysis techniques utilizing accepted atmospheric principles and geo-spatial analysis procedures. To provide our clients with the best possible analysis, our in house suite of scientific software applications includes the ESRI’s industry standard Geographic Information System (GIS) application ArcView, with advanced geostatistic and geospatial analysis packages, the advanced scientific technical computing package MATLAB, and numerous custom data processing and analysis programs, written by our team experts.

To support your analysis, we have an extensive meteorological observation database that extends back to 1961 and is continually being updated (we archive over 18 million weather observations per year).

• Custom Map Products
“A picture is worth a thousand words.” Exploiting our extensive spatial analysis expertise and industry standard GIS applications, we can produce high quality detailed maps and presentation products for your trial. In addition, to enhance the accuracy of your products, we are available to conduct on-site data collection and mapping operations using mobile GIS equipment.

Our Expertise
Red Sky has extensive experience analyzing and forecasting weather in all parts of the world, including tropical, arctic, mid-latitude and the marine environments. Our team has supported clients with meteorological services on a global basis and has the experience to understand the unique requirements of your particular project.

One of Red Sky’s unique strengths includes historical weather analysis and its impact on the marine and coastal environments. Red Sky has over 23 years of experience providing services for clients in the marine environment. Our founder and chief meteorologist has extensive operational time working in the offshore ocean environment in such varied activities as blue water ocean tugs, salvage ships, deepwater hydrographic research vessels, and as a salvage engineer and salvage diver for the United States Navy. You can be assured that you will receive nothing but the highest quality marine analysis service, because we understand how unforgiving that environment can be.
