John Villines has dedicated his adult life to security management and the study of crime prevention and crime causation.

current certifications from two international entities: one in Security Management (CPP) and the other in Crime Prevention (ICPS)
chaired State Regulatory and Licensing Board which oversees security and investigation industry from 2004 to 2007; appointed by the Governor, still serves as an active board member
former POST-certified instructor for advanced and specialized training of police officers; maintains current instructor certification for security and investigations
developed the Crime Prevention Specialist training program for the State of Georgia
former Regional Director, Georgia Crime Prevention Association
authored Personal Safety chapter of the training text used by the International Society of Crime Prevention Practitioners
started in security field as a patrol officer over 30 years ago and rose through the ranks into management positions and company ownership
