John Harris' body of knowledge and experience in premises security, real estate, and accounting combined with his forensic work over the last 14 years in multi-state jurisdictions involving varied types of premises, each with its own set of different facts and circumstances, is the basis of specialized expertise in premises risk identification and liability mitigation issues.
He holds a BS in Accounting and a MS in Real Estate and is board certified in security management(CPP) and in physical security (PSP). He is unique in the security industry in that he is also a CPA (Certified Public Accountant). He has hands-on experience developing, implementing, managing and maintaining physical security programs with personally-owned properties as well as fiduciary responsibility as a general partner in real estate investments and as consultant to developers, owners, managers, and insurers of properties.
Mr. Harris has conducted over 1000 security risk assessments of premises located in 41 states in the continental United States as well as in Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and Colombia, South America.
