Dr. Lineback is a Board Certified Pulmonary Internist with academic appointments and teaching positions at UCLA and USC. He has 20 years experience in the evaluation of Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury cases. Dr. Lineback has been in clinical practice since 1984 and has served as an expert witness for both defense and plaintiff attorneys. He has participated in over 500 depositions and has testified in over 50 trials. His expertise in pathophysiology and mechanisms of disease serve him well in the evaluation of the complex multisystem disorders seen in wrongful death and toxic tort cases. Specific areas he has testified in include pulmonary embolism, asthma, mold exposure, respiratory failure, hypertension, stroke, asbestosis, pneumothorax, lung cancer, shock, anaphylaxis, smoke inhalation, chest trauma, post-operative surgical complications, toxic fume inhalation, catastrophic injury, pneumonia, upper airway obstruction, and congestive heart failure.
