A: Have given more than 75 lectures on Psychiatry & Law, from basic priciples to medical & Law Students, to advanced topics for Psychiatrists and praticing attorneys all over the US, Canada, Europe, And Egypt. I lecure on Profiling crime scenes, Insanity, Competency, Duty to Warn, Malpractice, etc. I have presented to international, national, regional, and local groups.

A: no
Q: On how many occasions have you been retained as an expert?
A: I've done about a dozen private cases, but for 20 years testified for the Department of Mental Health in serious Felonies all over Alabama.
Q: For what area(s) of expertise have you been retained as an expert?
A: Privately, usually malpractice, suicide cases, jail/prison suicides, some capacity to write a will. For the State I have been an expert in cases involving Competency to Stand Trial, Insanity Defenses, Capital Murder sentencing, and related issues. I have testified for Defense & Prosecution in all of these. I even testified in the emotional impact of a rollercoster accident thst killed a 14 year old girl.

A: In Private cases, about 50% - In Criminal Cases, I have been appointed by the Court, but usually wind up testifying for the DA.
