For more than 35 years, James has been an electrical engineer in the traffic signal industry working in the areas of engineering, quality control, marketing and product development. He directed the development of a complete line of microprocessor traffic signal control equipment and a line of polycarbonate traffic and pedestrian signals. Jim was responsible for the Applications Engineering Operation that designed complete intersection control packages.
He was a member of the NEMA Traffic Control Systems group that developed the technical standards for traffic controls and systems. Jim has held management positions with companies like Traffic Control Technologies, Inc., Crouse-Hinds Traffic Control Products and Washington Technological Associates.
He's a Professional Engineer in New York and is a member of several professional organizations, including the Institute of Transportation Engineers and the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America.
