Jack Goldberg is the President of Metrionix, Inc., a contract engineering and consulting business with expertise in medical devices, electronic instrumentation and components, measurement systems, radio frequency systems, audio and acoustics, signal processing, hearing, and manufacturing technology. Mr. Goldberg has over thirty years of experience in product development and manufacturing, both as an individual contributor and at Director level, with extensive expertise in the design of embedded software and circuits, as well as experience in medical product manufacturing and FDA-related matters. Seven patents to date.
Mr. Goldberg has served as an expert in product liability, trade secret and intellectual property matters, in cases involving medical instruments, audio measurement and processing, and RF systems. Mr. Goldberg has 30 years of engineering experience and has served as an expert in patent litigation, trade secrets, acoustic analysis, failure analysis, and product liability, many cases involving medical instruments. Detailed knowledge includes circuits and system design, measurement and control, embedded software, signal processing, vital signs, infusion pumps and hearing. Experience includes trial testimony for plaintiffs and defendants in medical instrument patent cases and trial testimony related to criminal earwitness.
