Mr. H. Michael Mogil

Mr. Mogil is a Certified Consulting Meteorologist (M.S. Meteorology). He has an extensive weather background, including working nearly 30 years with NOAA. He is also experienced in public speaking, computer graphics, weather visualizations and photography. In addition to working for the National Weather Service as a forecaster, researcher and severe storm program manager, he provided satellite training to many governmental agencies and hundreds of TV meteorologists.

Mr. Mogil has worked dozens of cases (both civil and criminal), supporting both plaintiff and defendant. He is able to access varied data sources (not only nearby airport observations) to ensure honest and accurate event reconstruction. He has worked on cases involving lightning, rainfall, snowfall, flooding, roof collapses, visibility, boating accidents, slip and falls and hurricane- and thunderstorm-related wind damage.

While Mr. Mogil strives to provide an accurate assessment of weather phenomena and their impacts, he is also able to present information orally and through varied visual media to ensure understanding by judges, juries and attorneys.
