Dr. Nystrom is the principal engineer and owner of Amador Newtonian Engineering. He specializes in reconstruction of vehicular and industrial accidents, mechanical failure analysis, tire research and design, analysis of vehicle collisions and vehicle response to operator input. Other areas of expertise include dynamics, impact and vibration; computer analyses of solids and fluids; and one-of-a-kind engineering mechanics problems. Dr. Nystrom received his Ph.D. in Applied Mechanics from Stanford University and is a registered mechanical engineer in California. Dr. Nystrom has over 14 years of litigation experience as an expert witness, has published extensively in the engineering field, and is a fluent speaker of Spanish.
