Gregory D. Lee retired as a Supervisory Special Agent for the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in late 2003, and is a former instructor at the FBI Academy. With over 30 years of recent practical law enforcement experience, he now offers a full range of expert witness and consulting services to the legal community nationwide.
Mr. Lee literally wrote the book on drug investigations. He is the author of Global Drug Enforcement: Practical Investigative Techniques, CRC Press (2004). Prentice Hall publishes Conspiracy Investigations: Terrorism, Drugs and Gangs (2005), as well as Practical Criminal Evidence (2006). He has been a guest on many radio talk shows and has been interviewed by news organizations concerning international drug trafficking and terrorism. He appeared on the Discovery Channel's, The FBI Files, concerning his contributions to the locating of Mir Kanzi, the murderer of two CIA employees outside their headquarters in 1992. Also while on DEA assignment to Pakistan, he personally participated in the apprehension of Ramzi Yousef, the al-Qaeda mastermind of the 1992 New York City World Trade Center bombing, collected crucial evidence, and later testified at his trial.
