Dr. Chertow is Professor Medicine and Chief, Division of Nephrology at Stanford University School of Medicine. In addition to an active clinical practice, Dr. Chertow's research interests cover clinical epidemiology, health services research, decision sciences and clinical trials in acute and chronic kidney disease. He is a fellow of the American Society of Nephrology, American Heart Association and American College of Physician, and has been recognized for his accomplishments as a clinician, educator and researcher
