Mr. Teer, owner of Teer Engineering Co., began his career in failure and damage analysis in 1979. He earned a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from Texas Tech University in 1978. He was inducted into the honorary mechanical engineering fraternity, Pi Tau Sigma.
Mr. Teer is a registered professional engineer in six states and the National Council of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors (NCEES). Mr. Teer is an expert in mechanical failure and damage analysis and has consulted to insurance companies, attorneys, utilities, municipalities, manufacturers and others. His services include, but are not limited to: failure, damage, accident and cost analyses regarding manufacturing, refining, machinery, cargo, code and OSHA compliance studies, all types of vehicle malfunctions and fires, plumbing, pipeline, fuel systems, premises and construction accidents, HVAC systems, and others.
