He has performed 1700+ reconstructions resulting in verdicts as high as $43 million. He is author of the, "Accident Reconstruction" chapter in the Matthew Bender publication, Defense of Speeding Reckless Driving and Vehicular Homicide, and has lectured on numerous topics including Impact Analysis, Crash Data Recorders, and Animation. Dr. Govatos, was retained by Deldot to prepare the Contract Documents for rehabilitation projects on I-95, I-495, and I-295. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Maryland.
