Dr. Farkas is a clinical and forensic psychologist, as well as a human resources consultant. Dr. Farkas is a former police officer and police psychologist. He consults with private businesses and public agencies on the topics of threat assessment, violence in the workplace, preemployment assessments for high-risk occupations, and other aspects of human resource management. He testifies in court on issues related to violence prediction, dangerousness, and mental status issues in personal injury cases. He conducts fitness-for-duty evaluations. Dr. Farkas has more than twenty publications in professional journals and books, and many presentations to professional and trade groups on threat assessment.
