A: I am a former training officer for the Questioned Document Section of the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Laboratory. During that time, I trained four forensic document examiners. I have also given lectures and made presentations to groups of investigators and attorneys on numerous occasions.

A: No.

A: Since beginning private practice following retirement from government service in 1999, I have been retained over 900 times. I examined more than 1100 cases during the time I worked as a forensic document examiner in the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Laboratory.

Q: For what area(s) of expertise have you been retained as an expert?
A: Forensic Document Examination. The field of forensic document examination includes the examination of handwriting, hand printing, signatures, typewriting, altered documents, obliterated entries, indented writing, ink and paper examinations, photocopier identification, document dating, rubber stamps, counterfeit documents, and many other types of document examinations.

A: I do not keep statistics on this subject. My services are equally available to both plaintiff and defendant.

A: I have been deposed on 31 occasions.
