Dr. Dajani is a clinical pharmacologist and toxicologist and concurrently holds Adjunct Professor of Medicine appointment at Loyola University Chicago. He has more than 15 years experience in litigation support and testimony for plaintiff and defense attorneys in the fields of pharmaceuticals, drug injury causation, drug-related medical malpractice, pharmacy malpractice, medication errors, product liability (e.g., warnings, designs, formulations, labeling), adverse effects of health, beauty products, alcohol and industrial chemicals, forensic aspects of alcohol and drug intoxication (e.g., Driving Under the Influence), pharmaceutical patent litigations and CROs. He provides research, record analysis, merit statement, and testimony.
Dr. Dajani has significant experience in drug development, regulatory affairs, patents and contract research organizations (CROs). Dr. Dajani was the former Director of Clinical Research at Searle Laboratories and led the research teams that discovered and developed Cytotec, a worldwide anti-ulcer drug. He was awarded the Edgar M. Queeny Award from Monsanto Company for outstanding achievement and the Distinguished Alumnus Award from Purdue University. He taught pharmacology and toxicology to medical, dental and pharmacy students and supervised the research of postdoctoral scientists and gastroenterology fellows. He is the founder of IDDC Corporation, a CRO group. He published some 120 articles, book chapters and patents. He made some 130 presentations at national and international biomedical conferences. He is also a licensed pharmacist in State of Alabama.
