In 2001 I retired as president and CEO of First Security Bank of New Mexico upon completion of the bank's acquisition by Wells Fargo. Subequently I worked for three years at First National Bank of Santa Fe as Senior Managing Director and a member of the bank's board of directors focusing my efforts on assisting the bank build up its high net worth client business base in Albuquerque. Before moving to New Mexico, I had extensive loan work out and credit administration experience at First National Bank of Midland, Texas and at Liberty National Bank of Oklahoma City. For the last many years I have been a frequent presenter at banking schools and conferences in the subject areas of credit administration, commercial lending and commercial loan workouts. My banking career began as a commercial lender at The Bank of New York.
