Mr. Burgh is an expert in taxation, probate and trust administration and litigation, and estate planning.
Mr. Burgh is a CPA, certified by the State Bar of California as a Taxation Law Specialist and a Professor of Law at Loyola Law School, teaching tax subjects in the L.L.M. in Taxation program.
The bulk of his practice over the last several years has been devoted to probate and trust administration and litigation. This includes accountings and tax returns, extensive court experience, discovery, and Court of Appeal briefs and arguments.
Mr. Burgh has been involved in estate planning for clients with as little as a few hundred thousand dollars to one with $14 million. He has taught estate planning and probate practice classes at both Loyola Law School and Southwestern University School of Law.
He now devotes a part of time to acting as a mediator. He is particularly skilled in mediations dealing with probate and trust matters and where taxation is an important part of the dispute. He also mediates issues relating to business issues, insurance and real estate.
