Dr. Wiggs has vast experience as an ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgeon. He has lectured nationally and internationally on a wide variety of oculoplastic conditions and complications. He has also published papers and authored book chapters on multiple oculoplastic subjects. Dr. Wiggs is Clinical Professor Emeritus at the University of Colorado (voluntary resignation due to time constraints). Dr. Wiggs has received an honor award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology and has been an officer in the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. The first oculoplastic surgical dissection course in the U.S. was established by four oculoplastic surgeons including Dr. Wiggs.
