First and foremost, Dr. Madoff serves as a clinical endocrinologist, having been in full-time endocrine practice since 1989. His clinical training and years of patient care provide credibility to his work as an expert medical witness. As a general endocrinologist with special expertise in diabetes, he is qualified to consult on cases involving diabetes, hypoglycemia, thyroid, pituitary, and adrenal disease, calcium metabolism, lipid abnormalities, hypertension, and osteoporosis.
Dr. Madoff was the first M.D., Ph.D. graduate from UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 1983. His internship and residency in Internal Medicine, and fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism were at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He is a part-time Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Madoff has been a chairperson for three national diabetes symposia.
