Dr. Henderson was certified by the American Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in 1969 after completing a General Surgery and Plastic Surgery residency at the Mayo Clinic. He has been active in practice continuously since that time. Sixty percent of his busy practice is related to surgery of the hand, wrist, and forearm, with the rest devoted to the many other facets of plastic surgery.
For the past 35 years, Dr. Henderson has worked with both plaintiff and defense attorneys to help sort out the truth when a conflictual issue of fact has existed. He has testified as an expert for both the plaintiff and defense in many states throughout the country, as well as Australia, on what he felt to be the truth in conflictual issues.
Dr. Henderson schools all of his patients with injuries on the problems, future surgeries, and medical expenses that they may or may not have over a life time. He gives this same information to attorneys in the approximately 25 depositions he gives each year.
