Mr. Easttom has extensive experience in areas related to computer operating systems, software design, computer forensics, and computer security. He has, to date, 10 published computer science books, over 15 years of experience in industry, currently adjunct teaches for a college, holds most of the major industry certifications, helped develop 4 of the major computer industry certifications, and has numerous awards (currently named in 4 different Who's Who lists). He also has experience as an expert witness in patent infringement cases.
He has been a guest speaker for the Harvard Computer Society and the Columbia University ACM Chapter. .

AVG vs. Microsoft – Patent infringement case. I worked for the plaintiff represented by the firm of McKool Smith. I was involved in 3 different patents.

Harrison vs. Comtech Solutions Worldwide inc. – Software copyright infringement case. I worked on behalf of Comtech Solutions represented by the firm of Winthrop& Weinstine.

The Weidt Group vs. Cold Spring Granite company – Software dispute. I was retained by Winthrop & Weinstine on behalf of the Weidt Group.

Countryman vs NextMedia – computer security related dispute. I was the primary/testifying expert for the plaintiff. The case settled before trail.

Pre-litigation investigation and report for Ogles Law Firm.

Consluting expert for McDermott, Will, & Emory on multiple patents.
