For 30 years Charles R. (Chuck) Dutill, II has been performing environmental and stormwater/flooding engineering consulting and litigation support nationwide. He has issued more than 45 expert reports, been deposed for defense and plaintiff, and testified in court (including jury and non-jury trials) for plaintiff and defense. His cases have included damages ranging from $25,000 to $300M, with most between $100,000 to $5M. He has also provided litigation support for environmental criminal and several wrongful death cases, as well as many toxic tort cases.
Approximately 65% of his professional time has been spent providing litigation support and expert witness services nationwide over the last five years, with approximately 20% over 30 years. About 60% of his litigation support services have been for the defense, with approximately 40% for the plaintiff.
Mr. Dutill has been involved with at least 15 significant litigation support cases that have included Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) approaches, comprising mediation and arbitration.
